Save box doesn't appear

I'm in the dungeon where Jake kidnaps Antionette and for some reason I can't save the game in this place. S and Crtl+S doesn't seem to be working for me.

When you get to the end of that smallish area, you will be able to save again. Saving is disabled from the cutscene conversation when you enter until the cutscene conversation when you catch up with Jake (usually saving is only disabled during cutscenes).
