Possible to build Lucian?

So, the apparent Canon protagonist is a Paladin named Lucian. Assuming a start as a Warrior or Mage (probably Warrior), is it possible to build Lucian?

I haven't played the whole series so I don't know what the canon protagonist would have.

But you can certainly build a warrior with enough magical ability to simulate a classic paladin. Any class of character can learn any skill or spell, the only real differences being starting special power, and the way ability bonuses affect Vitality / Mana / Stamina / Attack / Defense / Damage. You can build up more than enough of a Mana pool through +Mana items to cast all the spells you need to supplement your melee attacks.
