Where can I buy gems for enchanting of items?

I see problem - I find sword with 5 slots but have only two gems which are approrpiate for my warrior characyer. i go to the magicalstore at the Rivertown (markert square) but tehre are no more appropriate gems.

You can buy gem charms in Rivertown at Kistandalius's Ars Magicana store and Blake's general store. Corinna and Mpenzak in Verdistis also have charms. The rarer large gold charms can be bought once you get to the Wastelands late in the game. Sistaya, the seer, near the Dwarven Bread inn in Rivellon has some low to mid-level charms when you meet her the one time. Finding charms is not as much a problem later on in the game but once used, they cannot be removed so consider if the item you intend to enchant is going to be of use for a good while and if not, save the best gem charms for better equipment.
