Iona's dungeon and the Verdistis (and Rivertown) sewers are probably the largest dungeon in the game. The first level of Iona's dungeon and the Verdistis sewers at least have a few points of interest, to break up the combat
It was mostly just the Aleroth catacombs I found a little too long (it didn't help that I played the demo first, and was redoing it after the game was released), and the end section of the game (though in that case you can easily avoid most of the fighting).
The rest of the game I could generally switch between clearing opponents, exploring and running around populated areas, depending on my mood.
