I was specifically asking this because Ive wanted to buy my kids a harvest moon game, and the Story of Seasons Wonderful Life remake disappointed hard in this aspect. I dont need my kids getting brainwashed just to play harvest moon.

hate to be the bearer of bad news but if you believe "they/them" pronouns is "pronoun politics" and wanna disregard games that have this then you won't want this game you don't get a gender choice you choose a model and then you are called "they/them" pronouns the whole game along with a lot of other characters in the game if allowing a 3rd option of "they/them" is brainwashing and ruins a game for you and you deny your children of it based on that solely you likely won't be introducing your children to any new farming games from any company Natsume was the last one lagging behind with allowing it and now they are so you're probably gonna have to adapt or find a different genre for your kids if you want them to play new games not from the outdated 2000s since any new farming games are most likely gonna have it

well yes the point of my answer was to inform you that they/them pronouns is present in this game therefor it is not a game for someone who dislikes "pronoun politics" and believes that a simple optional inclusive choice during the character creation in SoS is brainwashing so a game like this that has it present the whole time no matter what you choose is not for you along with most other farming games I was giving you an actual answer since it appeared you misunderstood the "no pronouns" answer and seemed to dislike they/them so I didn't want you to waste your money and have to refund this game as well since it can take a bit to get the money back and that sucks so I was trying to give you the actual answer without resorting to political name calling like "social justice moron" for someone who has different views than my own

I don't want to support the usage of this obnoxious and grammatically confusing trend, so I won't be purchasing this game.

I asked specifically about character creation, and that is answered. Choosing between two models is not my concern. Choosing Male/Female/OTHER?? is the problem - this was answered way before your drawn out rant
