So, since you COULD water the grass, I assumed you had to water it, turns out you can just drop the seeds and move on with your day, come back 4 days later, and get your grass.

I guess the animal food thing isn't as rough as I imagined.

it's rough early game but by like mid game I just started buying a full 96 grass and growing it on Herbtsburg farm then that lasts me a long long time before I need to replant anymore grass plus you could grow fodder corn on the side I just like that one less since it's only a few seeds in the world every few days compared to spending like less than 1k for an entire stock of fodder from grass
