Shining Pearl?

I have helped all of the citizens of lilikala rebuild their homes, but when I fish at the pier after 8 pm, I cannot catch a shining Pearl. Am I missing something here?

It is story related, you really dont have to fush for it , you just go to the pier and get a cutscene

After you upgrade the fishing rod become expert level will Automatic Trigger the scene later just follow the instructions

I'm honestly having the same issue. The cut scene just isn't happening for some reason.

Finish lilikala story quests up until you get master rod
