Tool Upgrades

There was rumors going around that tool upgrades would be behind a paywall.
Can anyone confirm this?

There are at least some tool upgrades in game already. Not sure about anything else

It's not a rumor. It's the actual listed DLC. It's supposedly just the final tool upgrade.

Same as with all other earlier harvest moon titles, you can already upgrade tools more than enough in the game already, the dlc will just add a god tier of tool upgrades that will be way overpowered and not balanced for actual gameplay :P

I don't think that makes this any better. It's not like the game just hands you the "not balanced for actual gameplay" tools. You still have to harvest mats. This is a terrible move.

This is the reason I don't buy Harvest Moon games. Inevitably they have the best marriage candidates cut out from the final game and sold back to you at a premium price. I want a COMPLETE game.
They are competing against SOS which is the "true" Harvest Moon where most of the DLC has been just outfits. (There was a scummy one with Olive town) Where XSeed can get away with those tactics touting the "authentic HM experience" here Natsume is just grasping at straws with owning the trademark and having to spit out HM in name only games to keep it.

And then they do this.. which is not making me want to buy or play the games at all.
