What's the point of golden variants?

I have found around 4-5 common and uncommon golden bees, but legendary and rare bees of the same tier make much more honey overtime, even with the golden bee having like 20% more honey production. Is it worth it to keep these golden bees instead of selling them and putting a legendary (or even rare) bee on their spot?

Unless you are collecting the golden bees as a collective, there's no reason to keep them, while the golden variants do give more money for it's type/rarity, if they're just common or uncommon, they still won't give as much as the basic rare or legendary bees in question, unless you got the rare or legendary bee as a golden bee variant, then it'd be wise to keep for the output

Also, it's imperative that you keep bees to their biome specifically, I have noticed that if they're in the wrong biome, they will lose some bonus

Hmmm i see, thats a bummer :/ I already made a thread about this on the official discord server but I think its beneficial to consider adding more power to golden bees, considering how rare they are. I proposed a hive bonus instead of the bee's personal bonus, so every bee in that specific hive would make 5% more per golden bee, or something like that :D Thank you for your comment!
