madden 24 app timed out

everytime i try to launch it it says the app timed out and to check my internet. im connected to a ethernet so my internet isnt a problem. how do i fix this?

Same thing, servers must be down. why does one need to be connected to the internet to play a game some will only play offline, who knows!

ok i didnt know if i was just the only one. yeah its ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that we pay 60$ for a game and cant play it whenever we want

I'm getting the same for the past 30 minutes. It gives the following message in grayed out text too. "{"error":"UPSTREAM_SERVICE_UNAVAILABLE","error_description":"UPSTREAM SERVICE UNAVAILABLE","code":106133}"

For everyone;

1. Go offline in steam
2. Launch game from EA app
3. After game launches, go back online

This worked for me. Good luck

Also, what worked for me was to run the EA Installer app under the Madden folder. It will say EA App is already installed. Click repair.

Try reinstalling? Verify files? The game has alot of issues lately, mine tried saying my drivers were not up to date, which i had to google how to fix, wish the devs actually released a game that has alot less issues.

I had a similar problem. The game shut down in mid-play, and would not restart. I re-intalled the whole game. Still could not start. Then I tried loading and clicking "repair" on EA APP. located in my PC here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Madden NFL 24\__Installer\Origin\redist\internal\EAAppInstaller.exe. I also had weak batteries in my XBox controller, and I replaced those. Everything works fine now!
