I've got Madden NFL 23, and I still wasn't convinced it was a full generation upgrade (8th Gen PS4, to 9th Gen PS5). So I let this sale pass by.
I'm not a Madden NFL fan, I'm an I.T. guy. I've been trying to decide it if would be worth spending money on it from a technical perspective.
Optimization guides. Running frame statistics tools like Riva Tuner. Seeing if Mini PCs can achieve 4k/30.
Is the issue CPU compute on the character animations like has afflicted a number of 9th generation releases? Are the background Crowd animations set too high?
Is there a texture streaming issue? Bandwidth congestion on CPUs, RAM, PCI-Express lanes?
Is there something wrong with the VSync function? Does disabling VSync and using a Variable Refresh Rate display improve the smoothness of the output?
