Ahh I forgot about that. I wonder if we can force anything missing thru Nvidia control panel?
I find that hard to believe unless you're oblivious. I just fired up my PS5 and '22 to compare and literally the only thing '23 does better is visually is player hair. Everything else looks identical but runs worse while somehow telling me it's running at 120fps. Dynamic res is off and everything maxed - but the frames spike randomly.
Thanks and yeah I know how to do it, but haven't tried. Will give it a shot tomorrow, I've got no interest in even playing it now tbh.
Thanks, but playing at max settings at 120fps is the primary reason I got it for PC. I'd also be willing to bet that the same exact settings that impacted performance negatively will be the same culprits again here. I can't remember which one it was in '21, but it's one of the sliders for grass, hair, shadows, etc. I believe it was related to the crowd.
Hey in case you didn't figure this out already, try turning down your crowd's graphics settings. It fixed the issue for me. You might need to also turn down shadows slightly too depending on how beefy your rig is. I just had to go to medium on the crowd with the 4090 and it was completely unnoticeable.
