Shoutout to EA for ruining the only good thing about this game.
With this last update, EA clearly was aiming it at modders. This game runs like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on pc, there was a mod that literally fixed the game. I played the hell out of it, then they ruin the game with this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ update. I tried playing, thinking, maybe they actually cared about the people who bought the game and they optimized it. Nope, still runs like ♥♥♥♥. I cant wait for you guys to abandon this game so that it doesn't get anymore updates. After that, none of us will need to buy another game from you guys. we can just mod it to our liking without you all trying to screw us over.

I wish it did for me haha. I have a 1080 TI FE, runs fine until I snap it then it goes slow motion. Its 10x worse if I have chrome or anything else open when running the game.

I'm running the game off an ssd, also 16 gb ram, with a ryzen 2600 (I'm guessing if anything the CPU is the issue here) but even then, fifa 23 or whatever runs flawlessly, its just madden that has issues.

Have you tried frame limiting to 60?

Yes sir, have all settings on low, and adjusted Nvidia control panel settings as well. No luck sadly. I was using a low performance mod and the game ran at 120 fps when I turned off the frame lock. I also want to say, I appreciate you trying to help honestly, it means a lot to me, this community deserves better, hopefully the NFL will see all this bs and pull the contract from EA

I use it in a different way than most. I only play it streaming it to my Steam Deck. With that, I have the resolution preset for the Deck screen and I locked it to 60 frames. It's force to 720p/800p (I can't remember which as not all titles support 16:10). As at test, try forcing it to 60 frames and also drop a lower resolution. Just see if it makes a difference.

I wish I had better WiFi so I could stream it to my deck! lol! I dropped it down to 720p, worked great for ~3 plays, then it started getting choppy after the snapped nearly every play after. I’ll probably just revert my game update and reinstall mods at this point

I have good internet, not great but good. If you don’t mind me asking, why would internet speed play a factor if I’m playing “offline” game modes, like franchise and such?
