Losing Control of Players while on Defense?

Is anyone else having this issue?

On Kickoffs and while switching players on Defense, they will just stop moving and have all their stamina drained. I'll switch to another player and the same thing happens. They come to a complete stop, and I can't move them, while they stamina dumps completely.

It only happens in H2H, and doesn't happen in all games, but at least 50% of the games.

I've disabled the touchpad and other inputs, and it still happens.

Is this a bug, a cheat, or a setting I need to change.


Sorry if this has been asked before, couldn't find anything with search.

So, I'm the only one that that loses complete control of the player I'm switched to.
They just stand there and can't move.

Do I have to make a video of this BS?

Seriously,

Am I the only one having this happen?

On Defense, The players I'm controlling, just stop completely and stand in place.
If I switch to another player, they also just stand in place watching the ball carrier run past them.

Is this a Cheat, Bug, issue on my side?

You can't play this game when you can't control your defensive players.

So, What do I do?

Didn't want your thread to go on without someone else chiming in. I'm strictly a solo player, so no online but I have not seen this. I'm using an Xbox One controller via Bluetooth. I do have situations where my controller stops responding, but that's a controller issue, not a game issue.

Check your settings, defensive switch assist i think its called? it will be under settings. Only thing Im finding is my safetys drop back super far for no reason letting wrs come underneath even when im expecting it

yes this is the whole reason i cant play H2H... I've tried every setting/configuration there is. and now i'm 0-8 because I've had to back out.

i'm pretty sure most PC players have this problem

unplayable, i saw there IS an update coming tomorrow (wed 13th) so im hoping that will help.

i do not have this issue in franchise mode tho.

cant click on to other teammates on defense.

if i get on a safety he will just stand there, as if my controller died

passing is delayed

play browsing is insanely slow and play call adjustments are pretty much impossible for defense and very slow for offense

ik this was a while ago but i have the same thing happening to me and its so frustrating, for an example when im on kickoff im gonna try and tackle them i cant bc when i switch to a player they js chop theyre feet and stop running and everyone i play against always only gets kick return td's

it happens to me all the time when i switch to a lineman before the play starts i cannot move the lineman and he stays in a 3 point stance for the remainder of the play
