PC H2H Lag

I have been a madden consumer/fan for almost 20 years (yes, I'm old). I have never had such bad performance, consistently, in terms of lag while playing online. I have played Playstation, Xbox, and PC versions of maddens through these 2 decades, and while some have had kinks, this is the absolute worst for someone who wants to play online. I have reduced graphics settings (and yes, I definitely meet requirements), but I still am almost .5 seconds behind an opponent's reactions online. This is untenable. Even if it is an issue on my end, it would probably help putting labels on opponents for their platform, just so I can see if it only happens during cross-play or not.
