Superstar mode (The league) won't load

Every time I try to start a superstar and play the story mode my screen will load back to the same screen and or just stay gray. Music plays the game doesn't crash. I can play showdown with my player but it still won't load the league just brings me back to the same screen.

I have the same issue. Choosing "The League" sends me right back to the Superstar menu.
