Madden 24 won't launch (PC)

I've tried re-installing the game, running from the files as an administrator, restarting my computer, and nothing seems to work.

Whenever I try to launch the game, it opens the EA app, which will either close after a second or hover on the main EA app screen. The game never launches. I've seen a lot of issues with the apparent anti-cheat system, but I don't even seem to get that far.

Does anyone know how to actually open the game?

Most likely need to enable secure-boot in bios. Its completely unjustified having to do so but that's how it is.

BTW, if it's Secure Boot not being enabled as stopping you, you should see a message about it. It sounds like you aren't even getting to the launch of the AntiCheat check.

Try to download EA Play, and install it. It should say it's already installed and offer an option to "Repair installation". Click repair and then see if you can launch the game.

I have win 11 and have enabled secure boot as well as done a repair installation on the EA app. Still cant get in

I may have found a solution, no promises, but it worked for me; reinstall the EA app like Mahjik said, and then go into your files (you can access them pretty easily through the properties menu) and run the EA anti-cheat app. It will install it on its own and then, hopefully, allow you guys to run the game.

Still a complete, unmitigated disaster of a launch on PC. EA should be ashamed of themselves, but they got our money, so they don't care.

No they dont, request refund, and then buy at a later date when fixed.

You are entitled to a refund if you are under 120 minutes played. The menu's are also terribly laggy with a 7950x, 4090, 64 GB ram. seriously pathetic.

i have mine enabled and it still says the same thing when i try to open madden can someone help me?

Try the thing I suggested in my post. Download the EA play installer and run it under the "repair" option. Once it's complete, go into the files and run the EA anti-cheat installer. No promises it works for you, but it worked for me.
