They didn't change the siege missions in DE at all? I dread those missions, they were the worst in the original campaign.

I completed this mission on difficult "very hard", I want to get an achievement for it. I have 5 crossbowmen and 2 archers left :)

The Original had a Bug which made this very easy: You were able to remove the engineers from the ram. The ram still moved and you could attack uidlidngs, but the AI ignored it, so you could just destroy the whole castle. Unfortunately this was fixed.

that mission is ridiculous. very poorly thought out honestly. the fact that MOST the videos use cheese methods to win and have to "trick" the enemy units and such is just sad. you have nowhere near enough units and decent units at that to do that mission in any reasonable manner.

you win with like less than 10 guys. stupid mission.

It's winnable on easy without using any micro or tricks as long as you don't just line your men up to die. Attacking from the side is the go-to for most. The sieges are fun as it is a change of pace to be able to attack instead of just defending. Remember that you can lower difficulty for a mission if you're struggling with a certain one.
