Stronghold 2 steam edition and stronghold legends steam edition did not release outside of steam for the same reason
Though I would like to know if this game comes on GoG too or is at least from the Steam version playable just from the Exe without Steam because I want to install it on Laptop of my uncle who is a big Stronghold lover but things like requiring to install steam and then having to play from a launcher are just modern disimprovements.
But you do you i guess.
well, i mean the UELA of pretty much every game always says that you are not allowed to share the game with others and that the license you bought only allows you personally to play the game, DRM free or not.
There are a few games that i want to preservate. This is all.
I am shocked by the lack of knowledge of many players
Its called household usage. You are even allowed to create copies.
GoG.com is not a platform of pirates and any game should use the platform to sell a game as long as its possible.
Not really. Plenty of games are released with DRM (and are not released on GOG or any other DRM-free store), yet they're present on those websites, of course cracked. Day-one crack is also very common nowadays.
People who pirate games don't care about DRM or its lack, they will download the available version, cracked or not. DRM makes a difference for actual buyers, as they have to deal with the DRM.
