I don't udnerstand logic of people with: no skrimish = game is horrible

first of the game has one coder (entire rest is for other stuff in the game) and they need to deliver game on realise
and the world does not revolved aroung skirmish
you have a multiplayer you can just go play with others and have more fun than playing against AI
also this game ritually costs 14$ (or euro) thats preety cheap for a game with so much content
this feels like people who say that definitive edition sucks are the s ame people who complain about 3d strongholds only cus they are 3d
this people are people who don't understand that developers are also people who are having a live
this people do not even know what definitive edition adds and they just call it ,,visual upgrade" or ,,cashgrab"

I'm not saying it sucks - it's just that an RTS game for me needs a skirmish. I might buy it, I might not and wait for their new game. There's no hate, it's just people's preferences. If they release Stronghold 2 Definitive Edition sometime later, it will probably be very popular as that game had a skirmish originally IIRC.

Because Crusader has skirmish, and I'd honestly buy that one. It sucks though, if this doesn't sell well then their not incentivized to make a Crusader Definitive Edition. But also, I'm not incentivized to play Stronghold either. I own the HD of both games, and IIRC, Stronghold is more mission-based (tech is locked) than the "free-form"/skirmish-like missions of Crusader.

definitive edition has steam multiplayer so don't worry
also we are gonna get 1 brand new campaign and new siegie missions

In every situation, if you bought Stronghold HD/Crusader HD you've effectively won. unless they boot in more content, they've effectively capstoned their leading franchise forever.

definitive edition has new campaign and new castle trail with siegie mission (24 missions in total) +new multiplayer maps and a lot of new features like custome hotkeys

or we can see this way: buy the game, enjoy it and support Firefly and hopefully they will make skirmish as a DLC AND/OR at least they will have the money to make crusader DE.

I think 15$ is not much for such masterpiece.
