I feel like comparing Stronghold to Age of Empire is a bit unfair though. Stronghold is about individual castles. Age of Empires is about conquering nations.
Thank you decerebrate Femboys for your answers.
To which I will quickly reply:
- "Sim" implies, as the name suggests, simulation and therefore management. There's no management in this game other than basic resource management for any RTS. Castle simulation implies that the game is a seigniory simulator with all that this implies...territory management, family management, nobles management and estate construction ETC...here it's just an RTS focused on the castle more than on the map...but that doesn't change the fact that it's still an RTS man. Rimworld , Dwarf Fortress ETC... are more CastleSim than your RTS dude.
The comparison with Age of Empire is obvious, as it's the same approach and, above all, the same kind of game: medieval RTS, accumulating the same resources in the same way, except that the builders are automated.
Don't pretend you don't understand that.
I think you're not admitting reality, he's just an STR guy, plain and simple.
It doesn't change the fact that you can love him, but he's just an ordinary str.
And as I said in my post so read again before blaming me for your ... argument...
It would be good if a deffinitive edition that improves the graphics also improves the interface to make it more accessible to new players. That's the point of a "definitive" edition, isn't it?
But no problem, I just posted this for the LULZ (troll as femboy says above), it will prevent you from STILL being fooled.
After all, they need money to live.
Yep, definitely a troll.
