Bad elemental weapons and equipment plus mimics not giving experience or the treasure they had inside
I started playing this game a few days ago and I noticed the disparity in the equipment, most of which are useless and are pure rubbish, this includes the weapons that at the moment only two are useful for anything, I'm stuck in the fight with my copy and I still haven't been able to get through because besides the fight being difficult with two phases, two bars of Hp for the boss, the equipment found so far doesn't have much use in leveling up to help, but you have to make an effort to increase your vitality so that it increases by 1 measly point of Hp and still doesn't even increase the defense, as the explanation says, makes everything even worse, I know souslike has to be difficult and I don't complain when the game makes you lose because of your mistakes but you lose because the game doesn't have resources that make the fight fair, it's totally incompressible, feed that with secondary weapons that have no means of reloading that the damage is completely done I hope an update comes out that has at least some item seller to sell weapons armor and recovery items for mana and arrows because beating absurd bosses with no way to win is very unfair .

Firstly, put on the equipment with protection from light, secondly, I passed the boss with Galvar's sword. In the first phase, wait for him to start running at you, strike and dodge. In the second phase, you will have to remember all the attacks, there are not so many of them, and beat on about the same principle

Basically use the weapon with highest combined damage against enemies that don't have defense against that damage.
For example you have scythe with 100 physical damage and some sword with 40 physical and 40 light damage. The scythe will ALWAYS be better.
But if you have sword with 70 physical and 40 fire damage, then it will be better against enemies that don't have fire resist, but if they do, the scythe will be better.
So all those fancy elemental weapons are indeed rubbish.

Don't forget that some skills have iframes and scythe doesn't. If you find it hard to dodge certain attacks, you can use them.

I just now beat him with the scythe and can kind of mimic this. The scythe's reach is just far enough that you can time your swing to hit him when running at you, dodge and then run/dash far enough to do it again. Rinse and repeat while paying attention/avoiding the lights.
