Great Game: Nintendo User -- Team Work Required. -- You're actually a human being int his game.
I bought this game on Switch and I love it.

I see a lot of mixed reviews, but my opinion is this comes from too many modern games making everyone be that OP (over powered) main character.

In this game you're you. If you can't do it in real life you can't do it here. What you could do with a team of people working together though is highly rewarded. If you like to feel vulnerable then surprise your opponents with respectful consideration to their own abilities you'll excel in this game. If you like to run in screaming "I'm the mightiest" you're going to die and most like the rest of your team with you.

I love it.

It also really captures the modern situation very well, too, as you get towards the end. The enemy is equally as ruthless, absolute, and uncaring. You're probably going to die, but if you can slip in enough choice victories maybe the rest of humanity can have a chance. That's a very positive message. Same as Ender Lilies. You've got a few choices, but ultimately they range past the rational into faith.

keyed, this game broke modern fire emblem fans because the game had no dating sim mechanics.

It looks like you haven't tried reading reviews before judging other players. Price is clearly reason #1. Personally I am going to buy it when it is cheap enough as the game itself is not bad.

60 CAD for a 25 hour game is a completely fair price.

Not really. For instance, Age of Wonders 4 has exactly the same price in my region ($35) as this game and I had 1.5k hours in AoW3. If you want a comparison with similar game in the same genre, we can take a look at Hard West 2, I spent 30 hours on the campaign and it cost $15.

Kino price is below $4 here so the game is like 9 movies, quite expensive.

It was a game designed for the target audience in mind being first world countries. People in the west, China, and Japan will have no problem affording the game.

Of course, this is why there are reviews with complaints about price in English, Chinese and Japanese. /s
Anyway, you don't get the point. Apparently we can afford it because we do own computers which are much more expensive, we just don't want to pay this price for this game.

It is just people being cheap, Redemption reapers is one of the most soulful games I have played and justifies its price tag. All 25 hours I played with the game was a blast. Chapter 28 had kino last stand map, and chapter 29 had some of the most soulful music I have heard.

So you praise music and beauty of some map while saying nothing about combat tactics, builds variety, resource management, different story endings? You must really like kino indeed.

PS. I have just bought King Artur tales for $13 on Steam. Because I am in third world country and/or I am cheap, yeah.

No, I tell you once again this game does not do regional discounts properly and is too expensive in first world too. The price is appreciated only by those who treat games as kino and don't mind game budget spent on voice-overs, visual effects and music. Personally I have no idea which music most games I play have because I turn it off if I don't like it during first few minutes.

no it isn't, people literally pay 90 CAD to consoom the latest Call of Duty with a cash shop in the game, and season passes. But god forbid a good game costs 60 CAD that respects the player's time, and doesn't want to milk the player for extra money but just provide a fun experience. The truth is Redemption Reapers is a gem, and is better than 99 percent of modern game slop created today.
