Personally, I'm trying to decompile the patch's DLL to continue the work that has been done instead of starting from scratch.
(Yes, I know, not very good, but usually localization patches are supposed to be open source...)
It's been a while since I've done this, so I'm struggling to reconstruct the code.
I hope you're able to work on it. Would be nice to get the quests and items translated so we don't have to struggle with crafting among other things, and of course better translation for the game's dialogue and story quests would be nice too but obviously that should be bottom of the list of priorities since it's a lot of work for people who might not even pay attention to the story until global.
Its sad that the original creator got so much hate for this. They where working on a way to translate dynamic items like quest and items and such. Something to do with the fact that currently in the game they are pulled down from the server dynamically and that this inital version doesn't have a way to grab that information and translate it, but they had a few ideas on how to work around that and get it working.
I don't believe that, as someone who has played PSO2 since the japanese beta, and still have my japanese account intact with everything in it. More like BandaiNamco is whack as ♥♥♥♥ but to say Japan as a whole hates foreigners? nah I don't believe that.
I'm aware, but they aren't the ones who choose who gets banned BandaiNamco does.
