2024 ? Summer ? WTF ?
last i heard the game was going to come out this month
been waiting for a while now
and its January 2024 and no solid date
i thank they need to stop even telling ppl about games coming out
and wait till a month away from putting it out
that way they can keep the hype that they get from a announcement
cause now that its not coming out this month (like i read last summerish)
feels bad and the hype is gone
i might still play it when it comes out idk but really dont like waiting a year +
just to get to January and the release date is gone and says 2024
lost faith lost interest

What I don't understand... why they need to remove small/short female body type? There are medical conditions that impact short stature too. Perhaps, short people also want to make a character like themselves. Flat out removing it, takes away body type diversity.

Thats 1% more than what Amazon tries to reach with their changes.

None of the people they make the changes for will play the game at the end.

And all they achive is to hurt their own income before they even started.

FFXIV, the main competitor in the anime-mmo genre has zero alterations for the western versions and it's part of why it is so popular.

People in the anime-mmo community are desperate for eastern culture, its why they are playing anime games to begin with. "Adapting the game for the West" like they did with Lost Ark is was entirely pointless, nobody cares if more NPCs are darker toned and they specifically only turned antagonist characters darker in Lost Ark, AGS's changes are condescending pandering at best.

So they want to stay in their rooms and let parents support them til 40+ and slide food under door, never make contact with opposite gender and marry a doll? Why?

some cave dweller gatekeeping in this thread, not everyone likes fanservice

I think the whole point is about it. I fell like need an explanation, sorry for quoting.

Some people like fanservice, other dislike, but the original game has it. They completely remove it (the word they uses is 'adapt', lol) to the global 'western' version, it's not a togglable option, they assume as all other countries in the world dislike fanservice.

Besides, AGP classify as 13yr+ game. A 13yr old won't spend money (don't work) or time in this game, the new generation prefers high competitive games or mess up in roblox these days.

So whats going on is...

The people in favor of censor says:
you people that likes the fanservice should not play the game

when was originally the oppose, the game is anime based, the fanservice it's already cultural, so originally was to:
people that dislike fanservice should not play it.

That's the cause of all delay, and all discussions so far. Cause AGP fails to port every game, lol.

But Fan service doesn't even look like a selling point for this title in particular, even in the East.

The game is F2P and they only makes money with skins or season pass that give more skins. How is not about fanservice? Need to be attractive. We need cool armors as we need casual clothes as well.

Games not gonna release amazon sat on it for to long now it's time to wait for the next JP mmo just for amazon to do the same thing to it.
YuGames Feb 23, 2024 @ 11:15am
You should be happy that Amazon is not releasing it yet, because the game is basically devoid of endgame or anything worth doing once you max yourself out, which only takes a bout a month, at most, to even a casual MMO enjoyer.

The game is barebones, it is a skeleton of a MMO, and much like PSO2 they are trying to recoup their losses monetizing the hell out of it before it sinks.

Modern Japanese studios are extremely incompetent at making MMORPG because they only think of short-term profits and trying to capture the lewd whales.

It is a shame to see the same industry that gave us MMOS such as Phantasy Star Online and Final Fantasy 11 and Dragon Quest 10 and FF14ARR now basically release phone game after phone game disguised as a "MMORPG" for minimum effort and maximum profits.

Even if they released the game "as is" with 0 censorship and today, the game would die for all intentions and purposes within the first 3 months.

It may make them some money by catering to the loli enjoyers and lewders, enough to keep it around, but as an actual MMORPG it is dead on arrival even in the best scenario.

Sadly the Japanese industyr now see MMORPG the same way they see phone games, just excuses to rack in gacha and fashion money at the cost of any quality or content.

There are currently rumors of the global version of the game being canned due to the poor reception in JP and not reaching financial goals for the part two quarters.
