Yeah. Hype is gone. They could've saved time, resources, and the drama if they would've just released it globally 'as-is' with just translated menus. I mean, the Japanese release in June was already super late. (..even the main song 'Mirai' by L'arc-en-ceil feels hella old now).
I remember back in ~2021, the hype was REAL. Back then, Genshin impact was about 1 year old, and BP could've easily siphoned some of the GI endgame player base. But now, we get content removal, censorship, no Japanese voice track, and on top of that, a 2024 release (ie. we have to wait even longer...to get LESS)? It makes no sense, and I dont want to be playing a game constantly wondering, "what else are they not gonna let me have in the game (thats already out and perfectly fine/playable in Japan?)".

we should protest against that censoring with review bombing and canceling our amazon prime abbo

That's the attitude everyone should have. Supporting a game that has any form in centership should just be Ignored entirely. The reason games are games, such as this get censored, is because people keep supporting
them when they get censored.

Then there are people that don't even know the game is being censored, or has been.

No guys, they know better trust me. After all the game is being made more approachable for the western market. Even if you know what you are looking for in a game, they know better!

So we start with changing underwear colour, removing the option to change underwear, removing small characters from the character creation, slapping pant on small npcs with skirts, make outfit for woman less revealing (you know, no cleave, safety shorts, etc..), censor content if necessary (I mean we can't allow children to start having fantasies right guys?) and the list goes on and on. We at Amazon games are Protecting you the consumer.

Yup that pretty much sums it up.
