Fans demand to remove censorship
Unbelievable, the game developers are willing to throw their fans on the bus to bend the knee for bunch of weirdos who are easily get offend by anything and those weirdos will not buy the game. They could make an option mode for player to turn on or turn off censorship. The game developers will lose huge profit on the global version if they don't remove the censor or make it an option

I don't even really care about the censorship that much..i do care about the game being delayed for an entire year or more to implement it though.

Jp games have been getting censored since the 8 and 16 bit days; Doesn't mean i support it but it's not a new issue, the only thing that has changed is which political party is demanding it. And its the same as before, the people that are outraged would never buy it in the first place.

Blue protocol is a niche sub-genre, in an already niche genre.. i just wanted to try something new that wasn't 20 year old tab target tbh. Looks like BDO still goes unchallenged. Though from what i am seeing the combat isn't that great to begin with, so by the time it does come out i will probably feel the same about it as i do pso2; too little, too late,

Either way you look at it AGS is setting up the game to fail, regardless of censorship or not.

And on a side note, good luck with Throne and liberty AGS.. that's like releasing a new modern fps that uses the dpad to aim instead of analog sticks...when the WoW players are laughing at how antiquated your controls are, that is really bad.

Then It's your opinion to not care Amazon treats you unfairly and force you how to consume. But fans and majority people believe this is an unfair treatment toward them and they don't want themselves as a teen adult being force on how to consume T-rating game. For example, it is just like you buy a foreign product but they give you the product does not work as the same as that product on description then they say it is American version.

"people who outraged not buy the game" This is a lie and laughable in a bad way. The fans spoke out they willing use VPN to spend money on JP server. And you should look what happen to Lost-ARK was destroy by Amazon censorship after they put censorship after half-year passed. The game populate with bots to replace half of players who quit & steam has to delete downrate review comment but those comments are still overwhelming enough enough it's rate as Mix. While the weridos who cheer for censorship did not buy the game as they were only talk and never plan to consume the game in the first place.

Second, your second sentence is like a throw-out of window comment and it confusing me. I don't see your sentence make any-sense at all. It is only between Amazon & Bandai Namco, nothing more nothing less. The Amazon is care enough to get offend over small things like female clothes showing some skin like leg, and shoulder. Those clothes are not even heavily sexual and not seductive either. And human bre@st too. They act like they never see bre@st before and it's cringe to see Amazon weirdo team to get offend on those female outfits that they see it everyday.

Third, America is a country has the highest gaming technology so you shouldn't lecturing on that like game controller suck as you said.

AGS will eventually open the official Discord of the game, which will be /playblueprotocol as an invitation link (I've tried and for now entries are suspended).

On Steam, or even Reddit or YouTube, we have little visibility. On the other hand, when they see the same thread spam as on this forum, in Discord conversations (and notably in discussion threads, which allow archiving), and those, on a much larger scale, I can't wait to see their reaction.

By reading various social media, I noticed that the general public is not for censorship, they are just not aware. Proof of this are all the messages on Twitter asking "what censorship".

Once they become aware, it will be much harder for AGS to maintain their position on the subject, which is what they want to avoid. But hiding a censorship that is becoming more and more significant will be impossible, we will have to intervene from the first phases of the beta this year to let AGS know, via their own official discussion channels, how unacceptable censorship is, and that we will not accept it.

Players are becoming less and less tolerant of publishers who demonstrate censorship, and many are beginning to back down, we just need to remind AGS that without consumers, they are nothing.

Especially since by then, another MMO will have fallen under their yoke (TaL, though it's mediocre to begin with), which will only exacerbate player discontent towards this company.

is it possible to contact the game developer like message or email

"Censorship for profit" by alienating whales in favor of more free players in a gacha game. lma sure. The average gacha game player is a lot older than the audience Amazon is chasing, which is not the target audience for this game.

Amazon is lying about why they are doing the censorship precisely BECAUSE it is not more profitable. It's agenda-driven, not profit driven. East Asians have expressed how the US branch lies to them about players wanting censorship because, and the Tera devs did a conference talking about how Elins made the US version the most popular region once they stopped censorship. The only "cultural" difference between western and Asian players, is corporate culture.

Not sure if this a troll post or someone who was using google translate that doesn't understand english, either way i can't really decipher all that.. nor will i waste my time attempting to. i will say that "people that are outraged will never buy it" was aimed at the people who demand censorship, not the actual potential customers. The previous sentence and the the prior wording of that sentence should have made that perfectly clear.

maybe the context was lost via google translate?

Not bashing the poster because their english is bad, just saying, my spanish is pretty poor, so i have the the common sense not to go on the internet attacking a post someone makes in spanish because i might lack the understanding required for context and nuance. Go figure.

Amazon doesnt care if this game makes any money. They cant lose enough money for it to matter.

They bought this game to butcher it and so other censoring studios can point to it and say censorship is normal. At no point do they intend to make a profit here.
Coconattsu Aug 6, 2023 @ 7:14am
We will not be playing this censored crap. Keep bending to the crowd that was least interested in playing this game Amazon. Masterfully played

They wont be getting my profit, I had plans to whale on the game (in a sensible sense). Now I wont even play it. gg. About to spend that funds on snowbreak now /shrugs

What happens when companise put their fingers into an industry they dont belong in and are out of touch with their player base.

Don't waste your money on Snowbreak. It's pretty bad.

Don't waste your money on this either.
