Even more so: There was a time where Genshin Impact -was- getting censored, where four Mondstadt characters (Amber, Jean, Mona, and Rosaria) were going to be covered up to show less skin on their outfits, which they did for the Chinese version, but for the international version, they gave all players access to the original, uncensored outfits as a free costume option. Because they switched publishing from Hoyoverse directly towards their subsidiary publisher, Cognosphere, which is located in Singapore, they were able to get pass China censorship laws.
To top all this off: Their next upcoming game, Zenless Zone Zero, will be radically different compared to Genshin Impact or Honkai Star Rail in terms of style and atmosphere, and that game is going to be FILLED with fanservice. Bratty girls with booba that jiggles, short kemonomimi catgirls, tough buff dudes, robot dudes, medio girls, and even furry bara guys. And I'm willing to bet it's still going to have a T-rating.
My point here is that when a massive Chinese company like Hoyoverse cares more about giving the customers what they want, compared to a western company like Amazon which isn't bound by censorship laws, there's a problem here.
Hoyoverse is one of the most based gaming companies these days. Honestly, there are only two games I still want to buy (Trails into Reverie and Armored Core VI). Other than that I just can't think of any game I genuinely want to buy anymore. And then Hoyoverse comes along with Honkai Star Rail, a free to play game, that has kept me hooked since day one and still going strong.
At this point I'd rather spent money on a Hoyoverse gacha game. Atleast they still have great waifus and show no signs of stopping any time soon. And Zenless Zone Zero looks great as well so I will definitely check that one out when it launches. Blue protocol looked interesting to me when it was first anounced but now I just don't care anymore. Amazon ruined it. Now the money I might have spent on Blue Protocol goes straight to China.
Have you seen this? Or you haven't seen, just watch and you'll understand.
Does Cyberpunk or Baldur's Gate allow you to create an underage character, though?
I think that's the biggest difference and what some people (myself included) are arguing against.
amazon literally just remove short people, thats it.
edit: if people want the clean version: https://i.imgur.com/OOQnDAH.png
lol, also is the one of the censored loli, i hope amazon will not ban me from steam for this.
Doesn't look like adult
Looks fine to me.
There was a talk I think with Piers Morgan recently, where there was a talk as of why Dwarven actors aren't allowed to play Dwarven characters anymore.
Like the guys are short and they get hated by the left for being short.
You know like the people calling the shots at Amazon.
azure lane be like T/12 full of loli character more naked of the loli i post up, bruh not illegal, dude stop try hard u lose.
agree, also Kurtzpel have the same character size of BP and can't make loli character but just a short one with a litte differance of 10/20 cm, if i remember Lime Serenity was the shortest one.
edit: or even Crim Plie/Amy Plie, very sad Kurtzpel is a dead game, stupid developer.
omfg
There are games with much worse content (including "underage" characters) WITH Teen ratings on steam right now. You want to report those games?
Amazon censored shoulders, knees, and an entire body type. That's content found in E rated games like pokemon. You're a weirdo if you think that's sexual. Suggesting the censorship is anything other than absurd is gaslighting.
Dude is saying he wants ALL "underage" characters removed because they are inherently sexual. Dude needs to be on a watch list.
So quit with the oppression olympics.
Anime was and is still niche. Go talk with random people in the street and ask if they saw any latest anime. The heck, try asking anybody "normal" about games, they just do not care.
Most of these corporations already have a bad reputation. They earned them with their anti consumer practices and outright bad bussiness decisions based on political virtue signaling.
The fact that you have to resort to calling possible customers "sad losers wanting to see big booba flop around" it's a pretty good example of that. It's people like you usually the root of the problem.
guy it doesnt matter if they are kids.
you can play as kids in video games.
