As for the small body it makes 0 sense if u are rp as yourself and ur like 4ft 5 or some thing like that. Unfortunately the loli lovers ruin it for the rest of us as usual.
Still, the man's went from being a Guild Wars 2 game director to 100% being Amazon's lapdog for the western release of a anime style MMO.
Later in that post he goes on to talk about "why" it was delayed but balancing/feedback changes from the FNT (Final Network Test) and "setting up a safe secure network" doesn't push a game back all the way back to 2024 so yeah I'm siding with there's probably more censorship/"localization" changes happening than what has been shown so far as well.
Censorship of any kind is unnecessary; either you are a grown up adult and you suck it up and deal with it like one or you simply don't play the game, but I don't want any outside source that has no idea of what people want/ don't want make the decision for me. This ♥♥♥♥ happens time and time again and it seems the message ain't coming across.
I'm aware that government regulations also play a part in this but this is also an overly misused argument for a good decade now, since all it possibly affects is the age-rating. Let's be real, whether or not your game is T-rated, the kids will play it without their parents consent either way.
And let's not start with the void argument that the game contains gambling-mechanics not suited for kids to begin with, so don't give me that crap about the regulations.
And if Amazon had any idea of what it's audience would actually want they wouldn't run their two biggest projects constantly against the wall with their stupid decisions. These guys are clowns and absolutey dsconnected from the obvious facts around them.
Their argument's regarding the rating is more or less nonsense when you realize there are games with the same rating that are way more sexualized/provocative.
NIkke has a T rating for crying out loud and that has wayyyy more going on than whatever Amazon is trying to censor in BP. Different games, but the rating system is still the same regardless.

Edit: Off topic but I enjoy Nikke a lot, definitely has one of the better F2P experiences for a mobile game as well.
Just wasn't mentioned in the interview.
What was brought up was a single, frankly silly little button in character creation. You press it, and the stationary girls boobs bounce in the menu:
"A change for us in the west, specifically in the character creation menu, the female characters will no longer have the physic shake button available."
That's the actual line. What it does NOT say is that breast physics have been removed. There has been absolutely no actual evidence to state factually that breast physics have been entirely removed when running and jumping around in the actual game itself. Frankly I find it hard to imagine Amazon Studios going to the trouble it would take.
I wouldn't be too concerned unless actual solid evidence, from a reliable source, shows up that in game physics have been removed.
There is still the issue of an entire height choice being removed and outfits being altered.
But part of the reason I was so forgiving was because they gave me tanlines to put on my characters. That in itself is so very youthful, compared to length.
