Character removed if you don't connect?
Many games delete your character if you don't connect in a few months, to make slots available in the servers, as is the case of Tower of Fantasy and The Lord of the Rings: Rise to War. However, other games don't delete your character, like Black Desert Online, since the characters aren't assigned to any server.

I would like to know if the characters will be assigned to a specific server, or if you will be able to switch between servers with the same character. In addition, I would like to know if the character will be deleted if you don't connect for a few months. Thanks.

Tower of Fantasy deletes you if you don't play for months? I have personally never played a game that does this to you. Or never personally experienced loss of a character in an mmo

About Tower of Fantasy, I asked in several Discords and the players answered me that the accounts of inactive players are deleted for generate free slots in the servers.

In Blue Protocol it seems that this willn't be the case, because seems that the character willn't be associated with a specific server, so it isn't necessary to remove inactive players for generate free slots.

My ToF account was deleted and I simply didn’t play for 3 months, I wanted to give it another shot but oh well

BDO also yeets your account if you don't sign in for a long time. I got an email from them about it last year.

But BDO notify you in time to be able to enter or do they notify you after deleting your character?

Honestly? I can't even confirm or deny it since it went into my spam folder by default. Either way it's just a garbage concept to drive up monthly active users.

Players told you this or customer support told you? There's a big difference there.

BDO became their own publisher so transfer was necessary and the email was sent out for it so if u didn't transfer then that's your fault.

No this was after the transfer period (which I did. not everyone is a drooling monkey). A solid year after.

Dunno, but apparently if you stop playing AGS published games you risk a VAC ban rofl.

This game will probably delete inactive accounts after some time as well. Almost every mmo does this since the conception of the genre. It's not even out yet, but I'm calling it.

Never played any mmorpg who did this. :lunar2020thinkingtiger:
Even after years I had all my accounts. And it would makes no sense for a company to do that. But for some strange reason this rumor is so damn old .... even in the "old times" of mmo's people talked about this.

i have palyed many games they dont have to delate chacacater in 90 persent of game to make new slot take genshin impact i have not logged in over a year my progress is where i left it if i return and i am on the america server i could log in at any moment and paly that game the only expcetions i have had is when a comapny changes hands and you need to sign a thing with the new company to keep the data bdo had this a year or 2 ago when it went fofmr perl abyss to akako games or the other way around there is no reason to tie slot up you can fill them infaitelty it only if you are online does your chacaracter really matter on slots if you are not logging on then that free space for someone spaces not basiclly in use if you are not online this artical makes no since to me at all the only rason to dealte account to make room is you dont want to save info for returning players and amazon new world i logged on after year and my chacater where there tho bandai nomco makes this when i log into the xenoverse 2 server on ps5 my data there there is no reason without porfe of a dev posting that ether of thoses 2 comapny dont have the space to hold chacacater data because on there other games they do

as of tower of fantasy and that mobile games normally waht towere of fantasy did is not the staanrd most games use as ofr the rie of war game alot of times games that a kingdom builders will lose your log in cirdtal even if you palyed the day before and basiclly kick you out with no way to retive this is not the average starnad of games on pc and even on mobile good example i can log into ualala idle my account was there 2 years after a quit for me to log back in because i set my google account as my main log in make sure to not make guest account of games if you dont plan on if something goes wrong lsoeing the account and even when everything is right till things on mobile can be annoying but as far as a am aware both comapnys bandai namco and amazon for other game do save your account info even years after you quit based on other titals it would be rare for a company do not do that
