Guys, you do realize Lost Ark global system is similar to Korea, right? Its easy to blame publisher for everything, but a lot of time developer also to blame for it.

Remember how Anthem is such a disaster and everyone blaming EA even though its 100% Bioware's fault?

Amazon aren't really the worse of all aspect, but all Western game publishers are just the worse when it comes to localization and censorship and AGS took it step further by removing the JP Audio. but yeah in term of cultural gatekeeping this is the worse yet i have seen.

The developers had NOTHING to do with the censorship and blackwashing that happened, not to mention the nonsensical translations (like changing "infighter" to "scrapper").

Who cares about censorship, as long as they didn't make the game more p2w than the original, its enough for me. So some character become black and translation is not stellar, still one of more fairer publisher compared to other who port the original game as NFTs game, making it 2x more p2w than original etc. I take censorship over ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ up the game system for quick buck 100% most of the time.

A lot of people that aren't you care about censorship and want to play the original game, not Amazon's vision of the said game. There's ZERO reason to change those things and fans don't want them to change it.

Blame society, cope and seethe. Westerner is so weird, caring so much about people's skin. Thankfully, here in SEA we don't have time caring about that since you guys oppressed us in majority of our history, so we don't have weird obsession with skin colors and just sense of unity against common oppressor the westerner.

Anyway, Amazon is waaay fairer in term of handling monetization than other publisher trying to do the same with asian MMO. Give everyone a black skin if it means it won't have way greedier monetization than original game.

Got excited till I saw Amazon Games being the publisher which immediately got me concerned, I don't want this game to flop within its first months as I have been waiting for this game for about 2-3 years now.

Because i don't care about other ♥♥♥♥♥♥ mmo, what does that have to do with Blue Protocol being butchered by AGS? no need to reach too far with pissing contest of "knowing all other mmo publishers" lmao. it's plain simple. AGS history with Lost Ark + Blue Protocol being upcoming MMO, you can't in good conscience expect the game will not be treated the same, that's just lying to yourself, and this is the time to express your concerns not just sucking corpo's ♥♥♥♥ just because they're the lesser evil
