How long is a run?

I've played a couple of games now and both times my teammate & I didn't make it to the end so I have to ask, how long is one complete run? We've defeated a couple of bosses and done some levels after that but I have no sense of how long a completed run is supposed to be. Three bosses? Six? Ten? One hundred?

Ok, on Very Easy it's three bosses. Not sure if the length scales with the difficulty.

how many rooms though? I saw in the trailer it went up to 12 at least. do bosses spawn randomly or am I going to be playing forever lol

15 rooms I think, including the boss rooms and the 'break' room before each boss.

Also, it looks to me like the last boss (and first boss?) is fixed but the middle one is random. I've done a few runs now and there's one boss I've never ever seen. It could come up next time or it could come up never at all.
