This isn't rocket league, it doesnt have the polish, it's far too niche, you need it to be free with MTX for skins etc and streamers to play it.

For the record i hate F2P models, but some genres/games NEED it to be successful.

Edit: i hope i'm wrong, i severely doubt it though.

Yes, soccer itself isn't niche. But the way it's played is. If the game were free to play, I can already imagine all the comments from people expecting a FIFA game and then being disappointed. If the game costs something, hopefully players will do some research before playing.
I was very impressed with the game in the last beta, and I'm happy to spend my money on it.
But some kind of demo would be good so that future players can test the game before purchasing it.

Everyone is just whining because the game costs money, please don't buy it and give it a rest. If the game becomes f2p only smurfers and cheaters will play and no one will want to play it then the game will really die. A lot of f2p games have come out recently and they're all crap because the games are cheater-infested.
