And yeah, players spamming five skill moves in a row with zero stamina penalty — definitely just me not “understanding the mechanics properly.” Must’ve missed the part on the website where it says “go ahead and break the game balance, no downside!”
Also love how “new players” from Europe are out here complaining about the price too. Who knew the answer to all feedback was just "read the site, bro."
No, it's way too easy to avoid. Skill issue in your case, I'm sorry.
-I think they already meantioned a sliding tackle nerf.
-pause in game i don't really like. I get its usefulness but honestly, waiting 40 seconds because a troll team refuses to lose is more frustating than playing with a man down. If the servers are good I don't mind losing 1 game every month because someone dc'ed.
-I thought about shot faints as well, I like the idea but I feel they are going to be a little too over powered, you already have tools to play mindgames with the defenders, maybe it will be a bit too much?? Don't really know
-prince is different for everyone, i don't know your economic situation, but personally i would rather pay 30-40 bucks to support a developer which deservers it than paying EA 70 for a broken football game. I could see free to play with supporter packs(cosmetic only) working, but i'd rather pay something upfront.
The idea is the pause would only happen if the whole team votes yes so no solo troll pauses. Just one short break if everyone on the team agrees. Keeps it fair and avoids abuse.
I definitely support the second option. If so, what should they do:
1. Limit/shorten the number of animations to give players as much control as possible at every moment of the game on the pitch. This is the key issue.
2. Definitely WEAKEN dribbling. This is not what matches are about, dribbling is rare.
3. Work on passing, especially on its accuracy.
4. Limit graphic details to keep the ping for players as low as possible.
5. Introduce teams and implement a team game ranking. Teams must have their own chat so that the team integrates. The stronger the opponent you play with, the more points you can earn. The weaker the opponent, the more you have to lose in case of defeat. 6. Do something with the camera! I dream of an isometric view with a locked camera, because right now it moves so sideways that you can get lost.
As for the author's post. Tactical pause - no. People want to play, not wait. Believe me, I played an almost perfect MMO soccer game and those pauses were the biggest problem.
Depleting stamina while dribbling - great idea.
Slide modifications - it will be even harder to intercept the ball, and this is already too difficult. If dribbling is more balanced, then ok.
As for passing - I agree.
Fake shot - makes it harder for defenders to play, and due to broken dribbling, the changes should go the other way.
Points - ok, but points should be awarded for wins and losses, not for successful reception, pass or dribbling. Because the style of play is not important. What matters is winning the match... This should be rewarded.
Position selection - the basic thing, I'm for it.
