The game is beyond awesome, but...
I guess the beta playtest might have been for network stressing purposes, but I think it's fair to point out somethings that stood out on my play sessions. Please take this as light critique and friendly suggestions, since this is the most fun I've had with an online game in a while.

Let's start with the real issues:

- The game crashes a lot. I know, it's beta, and even if it wasn't, issues happen. On a competitive game, though, that might become very frustrating very fast, specially if you're playing ranked games. I don't take any game that seriously anymore, but I can see that driving some people away from the game. Had 3 to 4 crashes (can't pinpoint exactly) in 9 hours of game time, which is, again, the most crashes I've had in recent time.

- The game runs a tad worse than I would like it to. It looks good, don't get me wrong, but not good enough that it should get 60 fps on a 3060 on high settings. I know my video card is old. I know it's nowhere near a great graphics card anymore. But think about the playerbase and the demographics you're aiming for. The desert map feels particularly encumbering to the graphics, and since the maps change mid match, having a stark FPS drop during play might be jarring.

- Monetization doesn't look like it's going to be predatory, from what was shown up to this point. Please keep it that way. It's a full price game, all items should be, at least, obtainable through play.

As some quality of life suggestions, I would like to point out:

- Please, at least a minimal bit of snapping towards a free rolling ball should be in the game. So many times characters just skip through and avoid the ball completely it's insane. I see how it can be by design and a feature instead of a "flaw", but it feels a bit janky.

- Can we get a button to lock the camera into the ball like in rocket league? I feel like that would help wonders not to feel a bit lost during play.

- There needs to be a cooldown on sliding tackles. It's just too spammy.

- On the same note, character hitboxes should be more reliable in blocking the ball. So many times I've had a ball look like it just phased right through me, even when the game wasn't laggy at all.

- The rainbow flick being as simple as a two button press and chainable indefinitely with no direct counterplay other than jumping and hoping you hit the ball mid ragdoll is insane. It should be harder to pull off and it should have more ways to counter. Now, I don't know how you guys will do that and honestly I've got no suggestions. I don't think the " add a cooldown" suggestion works as well here as for the sliding tackle, still something needs to be done, like making the direction of the ball a little less precise after the first flick, requiring some juggling. I don't know.

And just one last cherry-pick: please, can we have more discernible features? Characters are way too androgenous. I know it's a stylistic choice, but honestly, it's weird. Bodies should at least be more discernible, and facial features should be more customisable.

I think that's all. Love what you guys have right now, it's a very solid foundation. Can't wait to see where it goes. Please keep cooking - but also take into consideration feedback such as this one. Cheers!

F locked onto the ball at least on pc

Didn't know that, skill issue on my end. Thanks for sharing!
the rainbow chain can be troubling but if you nerf one of the limited skills available your kind of nerfing creativity aswell no? the game is meant to be about creativity and finding new ways to score. it can be frustrating but i feel like with time, people will catch on and get the timing.

Second sliding. I get the frustration with sliding and i know its annoying, (ive crashed out too) but sliding still drains stamina and if you sprint while pressing push, it's and easy shove. i feel you are giving sliding too much credit, especially when you start getting into higher lobbies.

also i had virtually no crashing up until 12-2 am central time with the deadline at 3am on monday for me. I've never had so much hope on the devs doing their thing and i feel like they definitely will do their thing!!
game havent crashed single time for me

Might be CPU issues, then. I've noticed the game hogging a lot of my processor once, but I can't really confirm that's the case since I didn't really monitor it. Still, it should be a bit more stable. I've had a lot of people DCing from my games, and I find it hard to believe all of them where quitting - specially when the game was 1/nil or whatever.

I get where you're coming from, but then again - in my opinion it would be healthier to the game if they were to add more dribbles and intricate mechanics than just leaving these 'as be'. But it's great to have other people's perspectives on these takes. Cheers!

no they nerfed GK ball range and deflection rate.

The desync is so bad, I hope they stop putting US players with Europeans, I got tired of seeing balls teleport into or out of Goalies hands, or players phase stepping 2m away.

Mate all your issues with gameplay ie. rainbow flick and slide tackles are a new player problem from people who dont know the game mechanics. Rainbow flick is so easy to defend because once the player flicks it in the air he does not have possesion and you can just take the ball off him. Slide tackling is the same you just touch tap past the diving in player or 1st time pass away or actually rainbow flick over the tackle .

Only thing I agree with here is, monetization and the slide spam.

Everything else is too padded room for my liking or a skill issue.
While playing with about 6-7 different friends, we had well over 100 crashes this weekend and were lucky to get through 3 matches in a row without us crashing. Not that concerning considering it could have been a stress test related thing. My main wish list item is that I want them to add more mechanics like ball feints and pass/shot fakes. The game doesn't need to be bloated, but just a few more would go a long way. The game did not seem to be running well in terms of server connectivity but the base mechanics are great. Playing with friends is also so much fun. We were howling all weekend. Looking forward to the game's release. I hope the devs take all the feedback into consideration and try their best to clean it up. Keep up the great work! Might have a masterpiece on your hands.

Adding a comment in hopes the team might see it. I had 35 crashes over the weekend. On an old pc “980ti lol” but the game runs at 60-70fps on low settings and felt stable so idk what was causing it. Sometimes id make it 8-10 games before a crash but other times it was every other game. It’s the only game in my library that crashes this much and it’s far from the most graphically demanding title I’ve played. Hopefully they can iron out the issues cause the game is a lot of fun :D

This game is in Beta; expect, major changes to format of play. Rematch is not ready for release, the Private Beta is not to create hype. This is an important part of development we the testers offer feedback and ideas guiding the developmental founders. Who want the people to have long lasting entertainment, and the ability to learn and grow as a generation. The movement and Defending Interaction is under constant re-work during this stage. Expect one full year before the game-play is near a professional competitive format that is worthy of mainstream sponsor support.

Under the circumstance all <Cheaters Access is banned> and Professional play will I would have active <Ref's> I would support a Competitive >Monetization<subscription service. In all seriousness Cheating and I'm Bashan the league.
<Skill Based Stat building> <Similar to Escape From Tarkov's System> <Traits is also a major missing format>

no stats, no abilities , no traits, all players are equal and this is a skill based game none of them will ever be added. It releases in 8 weeks...full release.
