its 25€ fair enough for a game that i have already 20h playtime
to make my point, look at https://steamcharts.com/app/252950#All rocket league came out in 2015 as a paid game. in 2019 it had a peak player count of 81,639 players on steam who paid for the game. it went f2p in 2020 and peaked at 146,902 online in august of that year.
and was down to 50k in january of 2022 only a little more than a year after going f2p it dropped to below its paid peak cause they ruined it and hasnt gone above that since. that should be enough proof to these guys that going f2p is a huge mistake
the game comes out in 2 months, surely in that time you can make a few dollars to buy the game (if you cant, maybe you shouldnt be playing video games at all then)
