ok kid. Go play fortinite

Look at absolvers price and its release date...
The price hasn't fluctuated once since its release, and nobody plays it.
and of course the price is the problem, not that it's hard to get into and nobody wants to spend time into being veteran's punching bag.

Do you think f2p would solve that? It ain't, it would cause tons of smurfing that will still drive away new players.

And to Rematch? It's gonna bring all the kids that do not teamplay, that always shoot rather than passing the ball and that believe they're the in-game incarnation Tsubasa Ozora or Itoshi Rin.

Rocket League is full of those kids who constantly try to 1v2 or 1v3 when they can't even do a 1v1, noone wants them to plague this game too

People are obsessed with FTP model. Thankfully this isn't FTP. I'm fed up playing with poor people who can't afford to play paid for titles.
This game will be f2p sooner or later, so you can just wait.

you are dumber than a rock, game will be nothing but a sweatfest with the same 10 players with this price-tag

Of course you would want that, you're a private profile with 1 ban on record... sad.

you are all saying it should be f2p because rocket league is
Because it's a live service multiplayer game that relies on massive playerbase
This game is gonna have crossplay as confirmed... we don't have to worry about a low playerbase anything soon.

dont do drugs kids, or you'll be like this guy

This game will be dead on steam within 3-4 months of its release.
It's very easy to call these kinds of things out after dealing with steam and gaming developers, early access models and this company specifically for over 10 years now.

I'll be back to tag and laugh at all of the crackheads supporting this companies behavior when the game inevitably fails like all of its predecessors. Can't wait to see that it is still being sold at full price 10 years from now as a dead game, like its predecessors....

You mean the behavior of not just seeing players are mere wallets but actually wanting to provide a good game with no aggressive monetization, fomo and other garbage proactices typical of live service epidemic and the behavior of keeping away smurfs which a f2p model tends to be full of?

At least we want an actual good game instead of a live service garbage

What's wrong with "abandoning games"?
It's only a good thing when good games do not get updated anymore: it means they're finished and that the training you put onto it won't ever be throwed in the trash cane, like with For Honor's CCU and every other games where rebalancement patches just decide what's going to be the next broken meta but everytime it's "the most balanced season"... f* the live service model

For the moment it's only a multiplayer game, not a live service = crap one.
It has a BP and a store where you can spend money.
