Will this need controller to play for best experience?

will it be like nba 2k type which you can use keyboard, but controller will be the best. Or like fifa game(fc), which keyboard can also play skillfully, or like tour de france, which totally need a controller to play(probably not this, cause there are no warning in the store). Anyone played it and knows this? Because I don't always have time to use my controller. Keyboard will be my first choice, but I really love sports game and this is my type.

atm controller is way better, but its still alpha. I would love to play it on kbm but its really bad rn

Most people say controller is better for movement but kbm for shootinh. I feel like if you put the time in either will be good. COntroller might be easier to pick up tho
