Mods using .pak in ~mods folder not working

Trying to download mods for sifu, specifically Snake Eyes mod pack on nexus mods, however after the download and installation, the mods only register as pakchunk_WindowsNoEditor and does not load whatsoever. The file is in the ~mods folder and I even followed a guide to make sure everything work. The mods just seems to not even be touched when the game loads and even newer mods that I felt maybe was the problem also does not work. Any help would be helpful.

Specifically, the file looks like this pakchunk0-WindowsNoEditor.pak

I used 7-zip to extract the folder and ran as both as and not as administrator.

Your NexusMods post says that your folder is called "~mod" rather than "~mods", so I'm not sure what to believe; it's supposed to be the latter, so make sure that it's called that.

It should be as simple as just dragging and dropping the two files into the folder. I've tested the mod just now and it works fine. Are you sure the folder itself is in the right place? Your directory should look like this: Sifu\Sifu\Content\Paks\~mods.

I really appreciate the help. The mods folder is called "~mods" However, both files that I download do have 7-zip markers next to them and I am not sure if that is affecting them.

Would it be possible to explain what extractor you used and what version of the game you are on? I don't know if that affects it, but I am on the newest version of the game and no mods that have been dropped into the aforementioned directory and mods folder have worked for me.

You skipped the Paks folder. As mentioned, it should be Sifu\Sifu\Content\Paks\~mods, i.e. one more folder compared to what is shown in your screenshot.

I just got it to work, thank you so much for helping turns out I have to leave the mod in the specific snake eyes folder and then add it to the file. Really appreciate the help.
