Boss dies before I can spare.

How do I spare a boss? The Botanist loses all his hp before I can break his stance a second time.

Surely you can't have forgotten that deflects/parries also deal structure damage (especially when coupled with the Parry Impact shrine bonus, and boosted by holding a weapon)?

What? Nooooo, how could someone possibly forget that? That'd just be a silly person.

As a side note, Duck Strike and Chasing Strikes (except for the last hit, which makes it risky) are non-lethal moves, meaning that you can spam them if the situation gets dire. Have fun with that ;)

Alright, I managed to break his stance twice in the second phase. But when I go for the finish on his second stance break it still kills him.

You need to press 1 on keyboard/left on the d-pad. You can see the button prompt appear when the boss' structure is broken.

His structure was almost filled and then it goes into the kill animation. I guess I have to go easier on him and pay attention to his actual health.
