Dualsense Support

In short: This game is listed as having full support for the DualSense(the controller that the PS5 uses). However, when I start the game up, it doesn't respond to inputs from my DualSense unless I enable Steam Input(a piece of code built into Steam that tricks a game into thinking that any given controller is an Xbox controller). Does anybody else have this issue? If so, did you find any way to get the controller working WITHOUT Steam Input? I'd prefer to have the correct glyphs(the icons that show you what button to press), and it might just be in my head or a result of BlueTooth, but it feels like there's a tiny bit of input delay.
