This also means that you can do at least two runs per hideout to really min-max things. The first run is to just get through the hideout deathless, by any means necessary. The second run is for the most optimal (that's up to you) shrine bonuses - no matter how many times you die, they will carry over into the next hideout. You can just click "restart" at the next hideout, and you'll start it at the youngest age but with the newest shrines.
