♥♥♥♥ the club level
Can't get the 22k score goal for couples of hours try, not mentioning the two ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ disciples in the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ secret room.
I know I know, the secret to get high score is not to get hit and attack with different moves. However, at other levels you can still reach the highest score goal with receiving some hit, but this one is totally impossible if you get hit for several times. Now I just restart the level if I got hit, which totally ruin the fun. ♥♥♥♥ the club.

Also, how can those two ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ disciples more annoying than the boss himself. To be honest, gives Sean a normal HP bar and he will be as weak as a ♥♥♥♥♥ gangster.

Common misconception. While those help with keeping your score not stale (i.e. constantly yellow and at 3x), the most important aspect is that your score gain is directly tied to how much HP the enemy had when killed. Full-HP or more-than-half-HP takedowns generally provide more gain compared to long combos. By the same token, instakills (in Club, that would be throwing the enemies off the balcony) help with that.

Basically, do more structure damage (especially with deflects and parries), do less health damage. Don't forget to trigger Second Wind as often as possible, and use Calbot to bring up your multiplier by 1x whenever needed.

The only exception to that rule being some very specific multihits, such as post-parry bat, Chasing Strikes, and Raining Strikes - but I would still advise you to rely on high-HP takedowns first and foremost.

Getting hit is perfectly fine, you can easily recover from that and keep going, as long as your approach is right in the first place.

Because it's a 2v1 and not a 1v1, and both of them are minibosses. You could also argue that Disciples' moveset is a tiny bit more complex, but eh.
  • Positioning is important. Make it so that they can't approach you from multiple sides at once, especially if they're obstructing each other's path.
  • Throw them into one another to stagger them and build up superdizzy.
  • Sweep often, sweep ASAP (that is, after an avoid/parry) to momentarily turn the fight into a 1v1.
  • Don't forget about your Focus moves! Strong Sweep takes an enemy out for 10 seconds, and Face Smash is just a massive burst of damage with a free superdizzy effect.
  • Honestly, everything that you use against the 2 Disciples before Sean, can also be used on the 2 Disciples in the Aquarium.

sounds like personal skill issue
not a games fault

Yeah skill issue. However with my current skill level, I can get the highest score goal at the other level. I just managed to rarely exceed 22000 by throwing all the enemies from the second floor at the first trial chamber. You can check how many complains on how to achieve 22000 in the club level, and you'll know that this goal is set relatively restricted compared to other levels.

Your advice is really helpful. I just chose to throw all the enemies in the first trial chamber to get 22xxx in this level. This goal is relatively hard to achieve compared to other levels. ♥♥♥♥ the club again.

Oh yeah, throwing enemies off ledges is immensely helpful for score. Throwing enemies in general was one of those things that just completely turned my gameplay around once I developed the habit.

The scoring system is really dumb, but as long as you know how it works, it's not very difficult to achieve high scores. It's just boring. If you apply the principles the other commenter said, you should be able to get high scores on any challenge in the game.

What difficulty are you playing on?
