Cosmetic pack references
I know the jumpsuit is from both Kill Bill and one of Bruce Lee's last movies, but what about the others?

  • Master Hand - The Grandmaster (2013)
  • Wing Chun Dark/Light - Ip Man
  • Kickboxing - Beats me, maybe not a reference?
  • Tracksuit - Bruce Lee in general, he's worn that outfit in a bunch of films.
  • Professional - John Wick
  • Wisdom - Not a reference, but it's what your character wears for about 10 seconds at the very very end of the game.
  • Young Man - Oldboy (2003)
  • Enforcer Armor - The Raid (2011) (also known as The Raid: Redemption)
  • Stunt Double - Drive (2011)
  • Jumpsuit - could be Kill Bill, but could also be Game of Death (1978)!
  • Rysrin - Absolver, Sloclap's previous game.

Edit: Oh, just realised you were asking about the cosmetics specifically from the DLC. Lmao. Oh well, doesn't hurt to point out all the other outfits too!

Is "gun-fu" a real martial art? If not, I figured this skin was Jet Li.

JW is an action franchise, so close enough, I guess? Besides, John isn't all guns, he does do plenty of hand-to-hand combat. Regardless, the resemblance is undoubtedly there.

There was a 2002 movie called "Equalibrium" which stars Christian Bale where they use a special martial art created for the movie called "Gun Kata."

Here is an example taken from a scene in the film. It doesn't give away any plot. It's a great movie if you like dystopian sci-fi.

Did John Wick use those moves?
