Sweeps, boss objectives and the sean disciples
is there any way to know when the enemies are going to sweep especially the club girl i find the sweep so hard to counter cause it comes randomly only time i learned someone sweeps were from yang and how do i also know what way to dodge when the sean disciples do the hand push i always randomly avoid it and not knowing how to not get sweeped is also part of some objectives like the only structure damage on bosses which is really annoying and boring cause if you get kicked on the floor you need to kick to get up i think which voids the objective

Typically sweeps are done as a counter if you keep pressuring an enemy. If they're blocking/avoiding your attacks, and you still insist on pressing buttons, then they're gonna sweep you. As always, the best course of action in that scenario is to disengage and step back. Flashkicks and Disciples do have one or two strings each that ends with a sweep, but you need to just, like, learn that string. Spend some time in training mode learning their patterns. Point being, it's not random. It's either a part of a string, or caused by you being too aggressive.

Don't confuse dodging and avoiding. Dodging is pressing the sprint button (used for repositioning), avoiding is holding the block button and doing directional inputs (actually used for counterattacking). There's only two avoid directions - up (for low attacks) or down (mid/overhead attacks). Side avoids aren't a thing, left and right inputs are interpreted the same as down. And the push is obviously not a low attack, so... that only leaves the other direction. (I'd personally advise to parry the push instead, but either option works).

No. Instead of doing Ground Counter (pressing the block button), or attacking, you can just press the dash/sprint button to roll away. It's as simple as that.

Also, please break up your text into paragraphs next time.

Are you sure about that? It seemed to me that the distant attack from above by jinfeng in master difficulty could only been avoid by doing it sideway. Might as well simply have mistimed my down avoid.

Others can't help you if you're not willing to help yourself first. It's only natural to get a detailed response in a game with this amount of complexity.

Very sure. Must've been a mistimed avoid, yea.
