Will this ever become officially Steam Deck Verified?

I’m hesitant buying it until then

What is causing it to not be verified?

Dude it even got a deck verified status of "playable" by now.
But it is not worth anything when looking at all these crash reports...

Have you played it on the Steam Deck? Just wondering if it plays well. I’ve read a lot of people having issues, but didn’t know if this has changed yet

I got a lot of crashes in menus on my Deck. I haven't tried it with the latest patch, I believe it became "playable" the same day the patch dropped so maybe it's mostly fixed now? If I play I'll update y'all know.

EDIT: Yep just tried it and crashed in the menus again after like 30 seconds... Such a shame because outside of crashes the game runs perfectly fine.

My Sifu game runs perfect on my steam deck. No lags, no problems or freezes or crashes. I went through 3 stages no problem.

What Proton version are you using? Have you messed with the pause menu much? I've never had crashes during gameplay, just within menus (skill tree, revival, etc).

I'm able to replicate crashes pretty quickly by pausing the game and going to the skills tab and just scrolling up and down the list multiple times to check whether it's stable in menus.

I have no issues running the game on the deck. I only have over 3 hours play time so far but it's been soley run on my deck thus far.

yeah this makes the game unplayable for me. Shouldn't get the "playable" status.

In my short time playing it on the Deck it ran smooth at 60fps without any stuttering for me. It just likes to randomly crash at menus which is what keeps me from playing the game on my Deck.

Well…this is a shame. I’m hoping they fix this soon. I’m wanting to wait to purchase it until it’s fixed (if they even do fix this issue)

I just gave it a try myself and had 7 crashes in 110 minutes trying Proton 8.0.2, Experimental and Hotfix. Hotfix at least seemed to fix the crash in menus, but the still crashed when beating the fist boss.
