2. You also want discussions about boycotting and clownfarming on Epic Store?
3. Shut up.
1. I'm pretty sure the guys working on it will not even see a dime of that deal with epic since its pretty much the Publishers & a couple of higher ups dev thats getting the bonus.
2. Where in the right mind was I discussing about boycotting Epic when all I said why people keep defending a scummy business practice.
3. Pretty much Your whole attitude on the situation.
But is it breaking a Monopoly when your business practice of trying to become a better online game store is to just buy out a 1 year exclusivity just so they can one up the competition?
Some Publishers might gift bonuses to the dev but those bonuses is usually for game sales and not deals between companies make so usually those money goes to the Higher ups and the publishers.
I don't even know how you got a janitor mix into this and pretty sure you can find out that Sloclap is not the only publishers for this game and you can pretty much see if those deals will be given to the devs that actually work on the game, but sure you do you I guess since arguing with you is only going to derail the discussion about why you should not be defending a multi billion dollar company using a scummy business practice to compete.
Best thing you can do is wait until the game is at least 50% off before purchase, otherwise you just encourage the anti-consumer practice that this developer followed.
