Sifu
Stutters?
I always had issues with Stutters in this, usually when loading an area or moving the camera too much, changing settings doesn't really make it better or worse, it stays about the same, its probs my PC being crusty which it is very crusty, especially the CPU. But still, putting it out there in case there's a magic setting that makes it better that i dont know about. I have tried DXVK but it didn't help, tho, i didnt try 2.0.

Also is the game easier or did i get way better than last time i played it? Cause i remember the first red guy in the club being way tougher but now i can schoosh and dodge like its nothing, did they make some of that type moves slower? Not complaining, just wondering.

You can try adding a command to the Engine.ini file that helps UE4 games with precompiling some shaders but there will still be new PSOs and shaders that have to be compiled when loading/traversing between different areas. I'm not an expert though, this is just a piece of advise that I picked up because Unreal Engine games share a lot of the same code but not all commands work across every game because the game engine is customized by the developer.

the command is:
[/script/engine.renderersettings]
r.CreateShadersOnLoad=1

r.CreateShadersOnLoad increases video memory usage, so you might be running out of memory and crashing.
r u on 1440p?
whats ur GPU?
Very shame that developers even not trying to solve this issue.

The game crashes for me when I add this to the Engine.ini file, either during the splash screen or before I even get to the menu..

After removing the line, the game works again, maybe this no longer works with latest version of the game.

Yeah, game updates tend to do that. Like if you use mods in games after one update, that can make mods or any changes not work, just the way it is. The underlying problem is still with a game engine and shader compiling and somewhat the streaming and decompression of assets and still there's not a universal way that game developers handle it.

i had problems on different UE4 games with frames and stutter, but i confirm than this fix worked on my end, way less stutter during loadings. i've 12gb of vram tho, maybe you can't use it
Sifu runs terribly for me. I think I had something like a crash an hour playing. And the longer I played the AI targeting me seems to cause memory leaks, so that every time that it stops and queues up an attack it gets slower until the game just locks up. And then it makes my entire PC slow and unstable until I do a reset and just don't play Sifu again.

I'm well over the recommended stats with a GTX 3060 and i7-11700k

mine just Stutters a bit when going through door or going to new area running on i7 4790k 4.4ghz rtx 3060 12gb of vram 16gb ddr3.
Same here, crashing randomly after running the game. It can run for 1 min or 30 mins. Only happens with UE4 games. The error is supposedly a driver error, but DDU'd the drivers, nothing changed. I am sure its a driver issue, cause geforce experience pop-up re-appears on the top right of the screen after the crash but I won't go out of my way to try 10 drivers to see which one is working. I can just refund I guess since its unplayable
