The game now allows you to save when playing offline (the Epic version required you to be online to save), no longer appears to crash during skill videos and runs like a charm.
I set everything to a mix of medium/high settings, set my refresh rate to 40, my TDP to 6 and played through the entire intro and started the first level with no issues.
That’s great to hear, FPS stable at 40? What settings did you use (if it’s not too much trouble)
When you first run the game you'll want to go ahead and let it install the VC_redist, it requires it to run.
So far it's been stable at 40 save a very brief dip here and there to be expected as the shaders compile. My settings are:
Borderless Display
VSync off
Shadows: Medium
Textures: High
View Distance: Medium
Effects: High
Post Process: Medium
Foliage: Medium
Anti-Aliasing: High
GameScope settings:
Refresh Rate: 40hz
Allow Tearing: On
Half Rate Shading: On
TDP Limit: 6 watts
Appreciate it!
Edit: not sure why default proton was working for everyone else but Proton Experimental fixed this for me
Hmm, that's a few. Always in menus?
