Thanks!
It's like if I owned a former Sony exclusive game on Play Station and then expected to get a free copy when it gets ported to PC. That ain't happening.
Game is not getting removed from the platform it was originally published on, it's simply being released on a new platform. They do not owe you a second copy. It's just common sense.
I'll be honest I couldn't think of how to put my feelings into words and while a lot of those words wouldn't be ones I chose, I agree with the sentiment, thank you.
You can't put how you feel into words because your own sense of righteousness and ability to reason(which I can see you have it, unlike the manchild above) betrays the irrational nature of "feelings"
"I honestly wouldn't be surprised if not..."
You did say it yourself. Don't be surprised if not, because you are not entitled to it.
You already have the key that you paid for, on the store you bought it from. It's not being taken from you. You are not losing access to it. You still own the game on the other platform.
Neither of you have given a valid reason yet. What makes you think you're entitled to a second key, on a different platform and account? Can either of you at least try to justify it your reasoning here or is it going to be just more entitlement?
Never even thought this. I never thought I was entitled to it either which is why I asked. I bought their game already, I wanted to know if I had to buy it again to play it on a better platform. That's it.
You would know this(if you didn't already but forgot or whatever) if you did proper research on what you're paying for. You always have the information on what you can or cannot do with the license you paid for at your disposal. That's why I said that it is delusional to think you are entitled to transfer your games from one account in one platform to another account in another platform when you agreed to something that will most likely state that you cannot do such a thing.
But maybe I shouldn't have prhased it that way because I realize now, it sounds hostile - which of course wasn't the intention.
On a side note, you seem to believe that I'm perfectly fine with how it is... Well, if it is of any consolation to you... I'm not. But it is what it is. And I merely stated it.
If you have such a big issue with all this, then you could try take this out with the right people, in the right place and see if anything can be done. I wish you best luck and hopefully you'll change things for the better, for all of us.
Until then, I can only tell you this: Engaging in a little internet fight and insulting people for simply having a different point of view than yours is not going to change the way things are any soon.
Have a good life. Bye.
